It is almost the middle of the season, and there are a number of teams wondering what to do with their quarterback situations. Injuries and poor play are causing some teams to second-guess themselves and bring in new names. Meanwhile, the fans in Kansas City are so happy with their Chiefs that they’re screaming about it.

Chip Kelly mum on starting QB for the Eagles

Michael Vick suffered an injury that sidelined him yet again, and that brought Nick Foles back in, yet again. Foles led the Eagles to a 31-20 victory over the Tampa Bay Buccaneers by throwing for three touchdowns and running for another, but what happens now with the quarterback situation?

Philly coach Chip Kelly was not ready to name his starter for next week’s game with the Dallas Cowboys, even if Vick is healthy enough to play.

“We’ll evaluate everything,” said Kelly after the Eagles victory over Tampa Bay. “We’ll see where we are, see where Mike is.”

When this situation happened a couple of weeks ago, Kelly was set on Vick starting if healthy. It appears as if things have since changed.

Buffalo Bills to take a look at quarterback Matt Flynn

Matt Flynn is well-traveled in the NFL, but it looks as if he hasn’t had his last chance since being released by the Oakland Raiders. The Buffalo Bills are now taking a look at Flynn and will bring him in for a work out.

Rookie EJ Manuel is already out for several weeks with a knee injury. The Bills signed Thad Lewis from the practice squad last Monday and threw him in as a starter this past Sunday, but he suffered a right foot injury in the overtime loss to the Cincinnati Bengals.

As of now, undrafted rookie Jeff Tuel is on the active roster and Dennis Dixon is on the practice squad. If Lewis is too injured to play, Flynn will almost definitely be signed if his workout goes well.

Arrowhead Stadium officially is the loudest stadium in the NFL

The Kansas City Chiefs are 6-0, and the fans are showing how proud they are of their boys in red, white and yellow. The team may have defeated the Oakland Raiders 24-7 on the field on Sunday, but it was the fans in the stands that set a record.

The fans at Arrowhead Stadium set an outdoor sports stadium record in the closing minutes of the game as they reached 137.5 decibels. A Guinness World Records official confirmed that the old record was indeed broken. It was set earlier in the year by Seahawks fans against the 49ers.

To think about it and put it all into perspective, a jet engine about 100 feet in the air has the sound of about 140 decibels.
