The Houston Texans have been selected to be featured on HBO’s documentary series “Hard Knocks.” The show is a blast to watch for any football fan, but the selection this season leaves a lot to be desired. Here are a few other teams that would have been more fun options.
Tampa Bay Buccaneers
The Bucs have the first overall pick in the NFL Draft and their selection, Jameis Winston, is quite the spark plug. However, the reports that have been coming out about his study habits would have certainly made him an interesting character for the show. Add in Gerald McCoy who has a mega personality, underrated superstar Lavonte David, and the lovable Lovie Smith, and we’ve got quite the season of Hard Knocks.
Buffalo Bills
Two words.
Rex.
Ryan.
That is all.
Philadelphia Eagles
Philly had one of the most explosive offseasons in the league moving tons of players including Pro Bowl running back LeSean McCoy. They’ve got a new QB, a coach who goes by the “my way or the highway method” and also this guy named Tebow will be around for at least a few days. There’s been a lot of criticism of the Chip Kelly way, this would clear up a lot of the questions.
Seattle Seahawks
Oh how neat it would be to see how the Seahawks players respond to one of the most gutting losses in Super Bowl history. Will they be upbeat, will they be angry, will they be motivated, or will they be something else? Also, they have probably the nicest quarterback in the league and a coach that is known for his unorthodox team building activities.
Too bad. We got the Texans.
